We are a small start-up company who felt there was a need to recognise our heritage and the hard work which our parents and grandparents contributed to when they were invited from the West Indies to help rebuild the country after World War 2. They sailed on SS Empire Windrush from Jamaica and docked in Tilbury Essex on 22nd June 1948. Despite being invited they were not welcomed with open arms, but instead, resentment and hate. Nonetheless, they persevered. They made England their home.
